Chapter 10

Once they reached the hut, Ishaan knocked on the door of the hut and there was no response. Just as they were about to lose hope, an old lady opened the door of the hut. She appeared tired and weathered with wrinkles all over her face. The old woman appeared shocked to find so many people at her door step, she asked them " aap sab kaun hain? aap kya chaahate hain ?"

(Translation - Who are you all ? what do you want ?)

Before they could reply, the scarfs covering Isha and Saanvi's face came off and just before they could put it back and reply, the old woman said " aap rajkumari Isha, Saanvi, Meera aur Ara hain na? aap soch rahe honge ki main aapako kaise jaanti hoon, asal mein main to mahal mein kaam karati thi. krpaya andar aaen aur mujhe batayaen ki main aapakee kaise madad kar sakati hoon"

(Translation - you are princess Isha, Saanvi, Meera and Ara right ? you must be thinking as to how i know you?. Actually i used to work in the palace anyway, Please come in and tell me how i can help you rajkumari ?)

"Hum aapase kuchh poochhane aaye the, ham apane daada-daadi ke baare mein jaanana chaahate the" said Meera showing the picture of the photo they had clicked in the store room.

(Translation - We came to ask you about something. Actually, we wanted to learn about our grandparents)

Amba knew what they were talking about and after much persuasion she narrated the story. It was as follows, their grandfathers met during their school days and formed an inseparable gang, a close-knit group as they had a lot in common. They shared adventures, secrets, and forged deep bonds that seemed unbreakable. She said their grandparents had a sister each , they were loved and adored by the entire family. All four of their grandfathers had started a business and it was reaching new heights day by day. Their grandfather's parents decided to strengthen their ties through marriage alliance. The Rajvansh daughter was to marry into the Chauhans, The Rajput daughter was to marry into the Rathores and vice versa. But, just before the wedding Abhimaan Chauhan and Abhijeet Rathore denied the wedding as Abhiraj's sister and Abhijeet's sister had approached them saying they were in love with someone else and were about to become parents , requesting them to cancel the wedding as they didn't have guts to convince their family. Hearing Abhimaan and Abhijeet's decision, Abhiraj Rajvansh and Abhimanyu Rajput got really mad , denied getting married to their sisters and severed all ties with them. Soon their sisters went abroad and happily lived their lives without any regret. But, the fact unknown to all four of them was that the whole thing was planned and executed by the four friends, their own sisters to escape their wedding as they had wanted freedom but, didn't realize that they had betrayed their own brothers and family. That was the day their friendship was shattered, a rift forming between them like a gaping chasm in the earth. The air hung heavy with unspoken words and the weight of unmet expectations. It started with a single misunderstanding, a careless remark that cut deeper than either of them could have imagined. As the time passed, attempts at reconciliation proved futile. Pride clashed with hurt, leaving no room for compromise. Each moment that ticked by seemed to widen the divide, until it became a chasm impossible to bridge. The silence between them grew louder than any argument could have been. It echoed with the absence of laughter, the absence of shared secrets, and the absence of the comfort they once found in each other's presence. At the end, Amba had tears in her eyes. Saanvi and Isha recorded the entire conversation.

Now that they learnt about their grandparents they decided to work something out, determined to bring them back together and clear their misunderstanding and decided to do something spontaneously to try and see if it would work.

In no time the day 2 of the Pooja came. On the day 2 of the Pooja all of them were dressed in traditional lehengas and sherwani. The temple was filled with lakhs of people as the day one and their enthusiasm hadn't reduced even a bit and the Pooja was performed with utmost devotion and sincerity. During the entire duration of the pooja the youngsters kept trying to bring their grandparents together by using all possible methods but none of them worked. They texted in their group "KOOKY CLAN" to plan something later.

After the Pooja, they had a meet and greet session with the people and Ekansh, Vihaan, Ansh and Aarav were supposed to judge certain cases of the villagers as the royals believed that the ability to do justice to people was one of the noble quality of a king. All of them were seated in the courtyard of the temple waiting for the judgements of their future kings.

First up, Ekansh was called up and the prime minister narrated the case and asked the people related to the case to appear before them and soon after Ekansh was listening to both the sides and giving his judgement all while he was unaware that Isha was watching him from afar with so much admiration as she was sure he would make an excellent king. She felt some sort of profound strong connection with him, it was undeniable to her. She felt she could share her life, secrets and every part of her life with him and he wouldn't judge her. She wanted him to be an integral part of her life, through the thicks and thins of life.

Next was Vihaan, he too was carrying out his judgement and Meera was observing his every move very intently and she was very impressed with the way with which he handled the entire situation. She somehow felt she belonged with him and felt like she knew him really well even though she learnt about him not longer before the Pooja started. She realised she wanted him in her life as not mere a friend but something more, as a humsafar through the highs and lows of life.

Next up was Aarav, he started listening to both the sides and started with his judgment, meanwhile Saanvi who was noticing him very keenly felt a sense of pride flow into her heart and she felt like he was a missing part of her self that she was looking for. She felt she could find that solace in him as she wanted him too to belong with her.

Lastly, Ansh was called and he went through the case and was listening to both the sides when Ara was delighted looking at the way he was speaking with so much confidence . She was very sure that she felt this soulmate wali feeling with him in her language. She felt he was a person whom she could rely on no matter what and felt they would fit perfectly together.

The grandparents were proud of their grandchildren, by the sense of justice their grandsons had, the confidence with which they spoke, the correctness of their judgments and so on. While all these were happening, all the members of "THE KOOKY CLAN" except Isha, Meera, Saanvi and Ara had disappeared and no one had even noticed their absence. The youngsters had sneaked out and were making a plan in the backyard of the temple as they didn't want to trouble their di's more as they were already very busy with their professions. After a while, according to them they had made the best plan in the world but they had a big challenge, to convince their sisters to agree to their plan as they was a high possibility or almost 99 percent probability that they wouldn't agree to their plan.

After a while they asked Isha, Meera, Saanvi and Ara to meet them in the backyard of the temple. They wanted to discuss the plan with them and start implementing it as soon as possible as the day 3 of the pooja was after 10 days.

After a while Isha, Meera, Saanvi and Ara arrived at the backyard and asked them to explain. The youngsters told them their plan but as soon as they heard it, they straight of rejected it saying it was too dangerous and would hurt the elders feelings if they learn about it later and also said that Ekansh, Vihasn, Aarav and Ansh wouldn't like it at all . The youngsters kept persuading them and still they rejected the idea but after emotionally blackmailing them they had no option but to agree.Isha, Meera, Saanvi and Ara knew they shouldn't be doing whatever they planned but agreed for their grandparents happiness.

After finalizing everything for their plan, they went back to their respective palaces. They just prayed for everything to go smoothly and drifted of to sleep as they were very exhausted.

It's a journey that transcends time and space, fostering both personal growth and a deeper understanding of the world around me.On the other hand, writing is my creative outlet, a means to express my thoughts, emotions, and ideas. It enables me to craft narratives, weave stories, and communicate in a way that is uniquely mine.
